Marianne Poon, A.R.C.T.

I had my first piano lesson at three and a half, and progressed through the ten grades of The Royal Conservatory Program program. During college in 2000, I received the advanced level certification as an Associate of the Royal Conservatory Program (ARCT). This involved a live performance, and a series of exams in harmony, history, counterpoint, and analysis. I began teaching and coaching piano at the age of 13, and never managed to stop…
